intense session that revealed a few limits.
we were lacking in bells so equipment selection looked like: 12kg kb, 16kg kb, 20kg kb(f), 24kg kb, sandbag.
the f denotes Rod's freaky bell.
so for me, the combination of using the 20, 3 reps per mvmt and the added thruster made the continuous sequence very taxing. put the bell down after 3 rounds, then again after the 4th. some warmup!
onto the ladder, due to the lack of equip this turned into '5 ladders anyhow' so we stormed through with sandbag carries, overhead kb holds, racks, goblets and other variations. very tough on legs and lungs.
then came mount st. i suffered through the first 2 but lost legs on the 3rd while battling a stitch & traffic.
was totally wiped out last night, very fatigued and looking forward to a few days rest, maybe up to a week.
we also met Kamil from this post who we saw doing some SB-inspired KB training while we were warming up and then on the ladder he says, "are you guys from sweating blood?". haha, that was cool.
so, nice to meet you mate and like we said, get in touch if you are keen to join us for a session (that goes for anyone else out there too) anytime.
