Top Ten!

After today's session Stef and I got to talking about bang for your buck exercises, he was opining that the TGU would be in his top 5 while I wouldn't have even thought about it.

So we thought it would be a cool idea to see what everyones top ten bang for your buck, most enjoyable, don't leave home without it, strength/power exercises are; basically, if you could only take 10 with you to a desert island, what would they be?

Feel free to rank them if you want but it isn't necessary.

We are at about the 12 month mark of when we started training together so this will be interesting to look back on in the future too!

Post your list in the comments.

Blog Transition

Guys, I've made some changes to the site in line with what we were speaking about on the weekend.
  • augmented the list of equipment, add or change anything as necessary
  • added some more site links
  • removed the document list (note we still have access to the document storage facility)
  • added the advertising to the right-hand pane at the bottom and a horizontal banner at the bottom of the page
    • note that these won't become context-sensitive (targeted at fitness etc) until google can access the site publicly
If there are any more suggestions for tidying up, rearranging or adding content let me know, I plan to take this bad boy public on Monday 5th November unless there are major changes to be made.

We should make a concerted effort from now on to post workouts, comment on performance and photos/videos where possible. This will not only attract exposure (which should increase the quality of work we do through contributions) but keep us interested and motivated too.

Instructions

Workouts and general information (news articles, stories, life experiences) should be created in a new post.

Tag each post with relevant words so it can be found again easily in the future and compared to similar posts.

If a post is a record of a workout, post relevant information into comments such as your weight used, time taken and reps performed to keep track of progress.
